This is the last week of school for the kids, and with that comes a lot to do. There are parties to attend, an awards ceremony, and other things to wrap up in preparation. This weekend we had three parties. Two were for the kids and the third was for my father in law’s birthday. That was interesting because I met a white witch, who promised to answer any questions I might have for the third Corine Solomon novel.
This has been a long year year in some ways and in others, the time has just flown. How can the year be more than half over? I can remember being a kid and thinking a week sounding like a long time. Now, a week is a drop in the bucket. Does time really change as we get older?
Right now, I have a lot of work I’m doing as well, which is too bad because I came back from Dallas with a bunch of books that I’d like nothing better than to read. Unfortunately, my worth ethic is such that if I try to avoid my responsibilities, then it bothers me so much that I don’t enjoy my slacking. Everything in its time, as they say.
Anyhow, I’d better get back to it. What’s the busiest time of year for you guys?

Ugh, anymore it feels like anytime is the busiest time. I can’t believe it’s half way through the year, either.
How the heck did that happen??
My daughter is 16, has her permit so there is always driving, now she’s wanting to get a job, she’s in colorgaurd….it’s always about rushing here or there, lol. You never have time to stop and actually think about how the time is flying you by.
I always say I wish my life away, because on Monday when I hit the door at work, I’m ready for it to be Friday!!

I’d say all year round . Between driving one here and helping with applications etc, it never finishes; but all in all they’re more than worth it
