I love bad boys. To me, there’s just something about a hero who has flirted (and crossed) that fine line between good and evil. Love it.
Some of my all time favorite bad boys are: Spike (come on, had to list him!), Cole from Charmed, Dracula (yeah, I root for him in all the movies), and Riddick from Pitch Black. Such great bad boys, er, men.
For a long time, I’ve been a fan of the Kensington Brava “Bad Boys” anthologies, and I’m super excited to have the opportunity to be in one of these anthologies. EVERLASTING BAD BOYS will hit store shelves at the end of August. This anthology also includes a paranormal story from Shelly Laurenston and one from Noelle Mack (great authors!). Yep, at the end of August, this baby will be on store shelves.
But I have a few Advanced Reader Copies of the anthology available, and I’d sure like to give one away…
So, leave me a comment and tell me your favorite bad boy. I’ll be back on Saturday, and I’ll pick one commenter at random to win an autographed ARC of EVERLASTING BAD BOYS.
Good luck!

Viggo Mortensen’s character from Eastern Promises. .. yum…..So psychotically delicious.
June 11th, 2008 at 7:27 am
I love your choices Cynthia! There is just something about Spike and Cole. How can you not love a bad boy? There is just something so appealing about them.
I like Christian Troy from NipTuck…he is just so darn sexy.
I am looking forward to hearing everyone elses answers.
June 11th, 2008 at 7:33 am
Spike is my all time favorite bad boy. But I gotta say Riddick is pretty hot too.
June 11th, 2008 at 8:34 am
Hum, that’s an easy one. Frank Langella from Dracula. Something about that man, with his sleepy eyes sets me off every time. Can’t wait to see with everyone else comes up with.
June 11th, 2008 at 8:39 am
Ok..my all time favorite bad boy? Rhett Butler!

I have adored Rhett since the first time I ever read GWtW.
He was the ultimate bb. Handsome, charming, daring and he just didn’t “give a damn” about what anyone thought.
And when he fell in love, he was yours; heart and soul. I always thought Scarlett was a blind fool.
June 11th, 2008 at 8:47 am
Congrats on your inclusion in a Bad Boy anth, Cynthia!! I have always loved them as well. Plan to pick this one up myself, so will leave the Q&A game for the others.

Right now I think Gisbone (sp) on Robin Hood (BBC America) is an excellent bad boy. Very hot for the bad guy…hotter than Robin Hood. LOL.

Oh man, I sooooooo agree with at least three of your choices: Dracula–particularly Gary Oldman as the oh so doable Count. Spike–the accent, people! :sigh: and the “I’m bad and I like it!” attitude :double sigh: and… *ahem* Julian McMahon as Cole in Charmed made the show for me
Sawyer in LOST, mostly in the first season :fanning self: yuuuuuuuumy!
Linda Howard has managed to create two villains that I for one find unforgettable in All the Queen’s Men (Louis Ronsard), and in Cover of Night (Kennan Goss/Ryan Ferris).

Dude! That is some group of authors - it’s like dangling a cupcake in front of me and running away laughing that I can’t have it right now. Sheesh.
Don’t enter me because I’ll go pre-order it right now and I’ll leave the chances to the readers but I love me some bad boys!
Julian McMahon as Christian Troy in Nip/Tuck - OMG do I love him to pieces. wounded, snarky, there is a man in there who can be redeemed, I’m convinced ot it.

My favorite bad boy is Dexter Morgan, the serial killer and star of Dexter on HBO. LOVE that show!! He is tall, sexy, sneaky, charming, and so dangerous. Love him!
June 11th, 2008 at 1:00 pm
My favorite bad boy is Alex Krycek from the X-Files. I could never figure out whose side he was on. Sawyer from Lost is my current favorite.
June 11th, 2008 at 1:05 pm
I’m looking forward to this one, love those bad boys! My current favorite would also have to be Sawyer from Lost, love his dimples. Julian Mcmahon also always plays a great bad boy.
June 11th, 2008 at 1:27 pm
Thank you all for the comments! I’m seeing some bad boys here that I NEVER should have forgotten. Rachael–how could I have fogotten Dexter? Right now, I’m counting down the days until Season Two is released on DVD.
I can also see that I need to watch more Nip/Tuck.
June 11th, 2008 at 1:47 pm
My favorite bad boy is Ashton Kutcher. I like how he does the pranks on Punk’d and he is drop dead gorgeous. Love watching him in movies as well

Rhett Butler, without a doubt.
June 11th, 2008 at 2:00 pm
Oh yeah, Sawyer on Lost is my favorite bad boy!
I liked Spike too, and Sherrily Kenyon’s Zarek in Dance with the Devil, he kind of reminded me of Spike.
June 11th, 2008 at 2:16 pm
Oooo this is such a great list of bad boys! I loved Rufus Sewell as Armand in the Legend of Zorro - I remember not really liking the movie, but telling the screen “You’re so pretty! How can you be so evil!” When he appeared.
There there’s Pierce Brosnan in the Thomas Crown Affair - Spike is a great bad guy as always… and could any of the man candy in Troy be “bad boys”? Because, yum
June 11th, 2008 at 3:53 pm
My favorite bad boy is the vampire Lestat
June 11th, 2008 at 4:06 pm

My fav bad boy is Gerard Butler as Dracula.
June 11th, 2008 at 6:57 pm
What a great list! I definitely agree about Riddick, Dexter and Spike (love James Marsters character in Tourchwood, too). Plus evil Angel was a total treat.
June 11th, 2008 at 7:15 pm
My favorite Bad Boy is Roarke from the In Death series. *g* He earned his way up in the world and is smart to boot.
As for an actor portraying a Bad Boy? Well, I watch alot of Cop shows. Not too many of those going Bad. *G*
June 11th, 2008 at 9:08 pm
Anyone read Devil’s Cub by Georgette Heyer? Her hero, Vidal, was a very sexy bad boy.
June 11th, 2008 at 9:24 pm
Pam, I almost forgot about Ian. Damn that man was sexy with his full beard and all that hair flying around. And you never knew what he would do next, kiss you or kill you. YUM.
June 11th, 2008 at 9:31 pm
My favorite bad boy is Roarke from the In Death series. Tough and ruthless when dealing with enemies, but vulnerable when it comes to his wife Eve. If they ever made a movie of the In Death series, I would love to see Gerard Butler in the role. Love the acccent.
I also love the character Lestat from Interview with the Vampire. He is such a naughty bad boy!
June 11th, 2008 at 10:25 pm
Channing Tatum in Supercross, Spike, evil Angel, Vin Diesel in XXX and as Riddick, Viggo Mortensen in Eastern Promises, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Hayden Christensen as Aniken Skywalker in Revenge of The Sith, and Johnny Depp in The Pirates of The Carribean! Yep, I love me some bad boys, lol.
June 11th, 2008 at 10:31 pm
Reading the posts, I agree with Thomas Crown and Lost’s Sawyer. I really like Jason Statham and Clive Owen too, but can’t think of them in any bad boy roles but I bet they’d be fabulous in them!
June 12th, 2008 at 7:42 am
Jason Statham: oh yes, he’s a bad boy alright!
You just have to check him out as Handsome Rob in the Italian Job remake. Yuuuuu-mmy!
June 12th, 2008 at 8:27 am
Love my bad boys in need of a woman’s love for redemption! I have to pick Julian McMahon in Charmed. The minute he left, that show tanked IMHO.
June 12th, 2008 at 8:45 am
Hmmm…One memorable bad boy is Cole who plays on Charmed. He also stars on Nip Tucked.
June 12th, 2008 at 8:58 am
Hi Cynthia
I can’t wait for more Dexter too. Oops I see I said it’s on HBO. I meant on Showtime! I heard it comes back in September. I can’t wait.
June 12th, 2008 at 10:39 am
Deacon Frost is the vampire, who is responsible for the creation of Blade
June 12th, 2008 at 5:34 pm
My favorite bad boy is Roarke from the J.D. Robb series. Coming in a close second is Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. Not the same type of bad boy as Roarke, but very appealing nonetheless. lol
June 12th, 2008 at 7:05 pm
Spike, Everlasting Bad Boys sounds great!
June 13th, 2008 at 2:22 am
