Secrets Volume 27: Untamed Pleasures features four sexy historical, paranormal and modern-day alpha-male heroes. But which guy is hottest? The authors definitely have their favorites. Let the debate begin!
Nicole North: Gavin MacTavish, in DEVIL IN A KILT, is obviously the hottest hero in Secrets Volume 27 Untamed Pleasures because he’s a shape-shifter, a Highland Chief and he wears a kilt. Of course, he wears nothing beneath that kilt either. Another thing, he goes after what he wants with determination. When he sees Shauna (and after he decides she isn’t going to kill him) he wants her in every way. To ensure that this woman from the future stays with him, he sets out to give her the most phenomenal pleasure in bed she’s ever experienced. Who wouldn’t want a man to satisfy her every sexual whim and introduce her to a few new ones? Another thing that makes Gavin hot is his sexy Scottish accent. Sigh. Though he is rough around the edges and has a slash scar down his face from battle, Gavin is gorgeous with wicked pale blue eyes, long dark hair, and a muscular body to die for. Being a chief and a warrior, he’s an alpha male who wants to protect what’s his. Shauna enjoys standing toe to toe with this bossy barbarian, as she calls him, and educating him on what a modern woman expects from her man. Since Gavin is a hero with big heart, he listens.
Leigh Court: Oh, no, no, no. My hero Damian Hunt from THE BET is definitely the hottest guy in the Volume 27 anthology. I mean, he’s a tall, dark and dangerously handsome Victorian viscount, plus he’s got all the knowledge of the Kama Sutra at his fingertips (and, er, in other places, too). What woman wouldn’t love to be on the receiving end of all that sexual expertise? When Damian bets his friend George that he can seduce George’s sister Claire, Damian believes she doesn’t stand a chance. And even though Damian is so sure of his prowess that he brags he can seduce Claire with just his words, we all know how those drunken wagers turn out. Once Damian lays eyes on Claire, all bets are off, so to speak!
Hannah Murray: Look, I know y’all think you’ve got the hottest hero in the Secrets 27 anthology, but you’re just wrong. My guy Jacob, in THE BOY NEXT DOOR, is so obviously the sexiest man on those pages! He doesn’t shirk away from Isa’s fantasies about bondage like her other boyfriends have – on the contrary, he’s all for them! He’s got mad skills with the rope, and when he unleashes those skills on Isa, using it as a sensual tool to turn up the heat on the already incredible sexual chemistry they share? Well, the result is off the charts - so hot you think you’ll burst into flame just reading about it. You only have to look at the blissful, satisfied expression on Isa’s face (and the pretty red rope tied to the corners of the bed) to know – he is hands down the hottest man around.
Liane Gentry Skye: Now, now, ladies. A silver tongued viscount, a kilted shape-shifter, and an uber-sexy boy next door bearing bondage rope? Granted, your heroes are hot enough to incinerate the pages, but let’s get real. There’s no contest here! Byron Burke, the hero in my novella, HEART STORM, is a hero’s hero! Which of your heroes can measure up to a wounded Navy SEAL who braves a hurricane in order to get the apple of his eye to safety? While every one of your heroes are sexier than bottled sin, do they possess the prowess to tempt a virgin mermaid to abandon her obligation to mate with Triton’s Son and save her kind from extinction? I don’t think I need to embarrass your heroes further by adding that Byron managed to stay alive while he kicked an evil merman’s ass and then made love with his glow-in-the-dark mermaid. Did I mention he did all of this under water? How did he manage such a feat?After all, he’s only human. Surely when readers find out Byron’s secret, they’ll agree, my guy’s already won this contest!

I like all kinds of differnt heroes but especially the strong silent type that is tall with brown eyes and a killer smile. Has to have a sense of duty, honor, and humor and of course, make me feel like a million bucks.

My fav heroes are military guys/cops, and I would prefer them out of uniform. BUT Nicole’s got a point with the “feel the breeze’ kilt and Scottish brogue, as well as the ice-blue eyes and dark hair, which is one of the most striking color combos to me. Now, ladies, as for the light bondage guy-next-door and the silver-tongued devil who follows up with action are both very hot too. My glasses are fogging up.
I think I’ll have to go with the kilt-baring hunk with the accent to die for. Yeah, he could seduce me anytime.
