Hi Vonna,

I LOVE the cover! And I agree with Jamie. Symbolically, the leash in her mouth and the rope wrapped around her wrists are submissive, while her pose standing over him indicates she has some power over him as well. His relax, content posture says to me that he is very much in charge. And I notice that we don't actually see the rope binding him anywhere.

Book sounds like a hot, entertaining read! Congratulations and good luck with sales!

Hi Vonna,
I have to agree with Sylvia. The cover is gorgeous and sexy and would grab my interest. It fits the sexy title and promises an erotic read. It's obviously not trying to depict an actual scene from the book, but rather gives meaning to the images.

Legs that go on forever-deer, gazelle, grace. The leash on the powerful cougar (who looks like he's grinning to me) says there's a powerstruggle but she's not a victim. With the leash in her mouth, it says she's not exactly in charge, either. The cougar himself, well, it tells me there's a hell of a lot of ferocity that could come to play, but he's happy and satisfied where he is.

So, it's like the cover depicts the end of the book when she's healthy, he's satisfied and at peace and they have their roles balanced.

You are completely right about the heels, though. They would have made her almost predatorily sexual and wouldn't make sense. The wrap is much better.

Happy sales! Your cover is beautiful!

I agree, the cover is beautiful, and without the heels and miniskirt, I don't think it's too off-putting when you read the blurb. Getting the perfect cover is hard because I think we all have images in our heads as we write a story of what the characters look like, what the scenes look like, and it's difficult for artists to get inside our head and know exactly what that all looks like.
