This summer is crazy. Anyone else feel like they’re running around like mad and only getting half done?
First, I’ve got some exciting “me” news. The first Divinity Warriors book just released in print! It released in ebook in May 2009.

You can check it out here - EC site ebook or JJ site ebook or print.
Book Two is now in ebook.

Book three releases July 15th

and book four releases Aug 28th. So those of you who love to read series in order and don’t like to wait, no worries!!

I’m pretty excited because I’ve had a chance to pick up my camera again. I forgot how much I loved doing photo shoots. (not to mention it gets me off the computer at least for a couple hours, lol). I actually plan on showcasing my work in the near-ish future on my website. Some of you who follow me a little more closely, or who know me, know that I’ve been a photographer longer than a published author. I love writing and I love photography. (But, loyal readers, do not panic. I am not quitting my writing career.
)
So, what’s everyone been up to this summer?

Wow Michelle,
A person after my own heart. I love reading books and my other passion is photography. My office has metal walls so I’ve been buying magnetic pix frames and framing my pix and they now literally cover 3 of my walls. I have some of my black and whites on one wall, family on another and miscellaneous covers the biggest wall.

Metal walls, very cool!
I’ve been taking pictures since I was ten when my dad gave me my first camera. I’ve really missed getting out there and doing it, but I love writing too.

Needless to say, we all love your books but I totally understand.
I bought a Canon EOS Rebel (the 1st year they came out around 91 or 92) and I still have it and it still works. I am having some problems with the auto wind feature now though. I have 3 lenses for it so when I took at class at UALR (last elective - chose photo 1) I had the excuse I needed to go digital. Bought the 8mp Rebel XT and have not regretted it since(my lenses fit it too). I also have a small Sony Cybershot I carry in my purse to catch that exact picture because I don’t always carry my big one around with me.

forgot to tell you that some of my pix are on my early blogs at habrewer.blogspot.com cause I had to start a blog for MBA Communications class so I did it on photography if you want to check it out.

Thanks. I tend to gravitate toward flowers, animals and buildings but I do love to take pix of my niece and nephes and now my new grandbaby.
I did my brother’s wedding and engagement pix, my daughter’s senior pix and numerous friends and family weddings. That’s usually my gift to them. I made photo books for my mom, sister-in-law, ex-sister-in-law and cousin for xmas through snapfish. Have you ever used them, they do a great job.

I’ll check them out. I used to do my own prints, but I’ve since taken down the darkroom. I love print, but the film and processing is becoming too expensive compared to digital. Thanks for the tip.

Oh, and congrats on the new grandbaby

Congrats on the print release…….and getting back to your photography!! I’m not very talented w/ a camera, but I love to look at pics that are taken by those that ARE!! Some just have that ability to capture the perfect look or momment……..
And I love Snapfish…how cool is it to make a calender, or photo book, etc of all your fav photos??? I’m so addicted, lol!

I’ll definitely have to go check Snapfish out.
That’s two endorsements.
